Information we collect
Claire may collect the following information when you use the app:
- Dream content. The dreams you type or speak, and the Readings, Echoes, Realms, and Threads created from them.
- Account information. A stable account identifier from Sign in with Apple, plus your email address if Apple shares it with us.
- Profile details. The name or preferences you choose to give Claire.
- Purchase information. Subscription status and entitlement details. Apple processes your payment information and does not share full card details with us.
- Usage and diagnostic data. App interactions, device details, performance information, and crash data used to understand and improve Claire.
How we use it
We use this information to create your Readings, maintain your Dream Diary and Dream Map, sync your account across supported devices, restore purchases, provide support, keep the service secure, and improve Claire.
We do not sell your personal information or your dreams. We do not share your dreams with advertisers.
Service providers
Claire relies on carefully selected providers that process information only as needed to operate the app:
- Apple for Sign in with Apple, App Store distribution, and payments.
- Supabase for authentication, secure cloud storage, and server functions.
- OpenAI to process dream content and create a Reading.
- RevenueCat to manage subscription status and entitlements.
- Amplitude to understand app usage and improve the product.
Storage and retention
Your Diary and account data may be stored on your device and in our cloud systems so they remain available after you sign in. We retain information while your account is active and as reasonably necessary to operate the service, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements.
Data may be processed in the United States or other countries where our providers operate. We use reasonable technical and organizational safeguards, but no system can guarantee absolute security.
Your choices
- You can change notification permissions in iOS Settings.
- You can clear dream data from Claire's Settings.
- You can restore an eligible purchase from Claire's Settings.
- You can delete your account and associated cloud data directly from Claire's Settings.
- You can also ask for help by emailing javiersvadillo@gmail.com.
We may need to verify your request before acting on it. Some limited records may be retained where required by law or for fraud prevention and security.
Children
Claire is not directed to children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information, contact us so we can review and remove it.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as Claire changes. The effective date at the top will show when the latest version took effect. Material changes may also be communicated in the app or through another appropriate channel.
